The dating adventures of Storm Broke

November 14, 2009

Dawn’s twin brother, Storm, had also dropped out of university and moved in with his uncle and aunt.  His uncle Starlight was Storm’s mother’s twin brother.  Storm had had no luck finding a girlfriend in university so he asked the gypsy woman for a blind date.  The first date was an ugly townie.  The second date was more promising although she was playing hard to get.  He was about to give up, say goodbye and try and call her the next day but she’d seemingly gone home.

The next day Storm tried to call her.  Her name was Kaylyn Spritz(?) but she wasn’t on Storm’s phone list.  Was she still on the property?  Storm went looking around the house and outside and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the headstone.  His aunt’s cowplant had eaten Storm’s potential girlfriend.  His heart sank.  He felt he’d be forever single and his sister had just got married and was pregnant.

Storm asked if he could use his uncle’s car and he headed downtown.  He went to the Crypt-o-Night club and Lulu’s lounge but all the people there were old.  He finally decided he’d just head to the bowling alley and have some fun.  Again, he was surrounded by old people but there was one young woman there.  Her name was Linda Barthelet.

He got chatting to her and they seemed to get on well.  Storm asked her on a date then and there.  He tried all the usual flirting strategies.

Eventually he got his very first kiss.

They then had a meal together.

Storm found out she was a convenience store clerk but wanted to get into a sports career.  Storm didn’t have a job but wanted to get into the medical career.  An opening just hadn’t come up yet.

They got on so well that Storm proposed to her at the bowling alley.

Remarkably, Linda accepted.

Storm was so excited, he got carried away and they immediately got married in the bowling alley, with Storm’s mother, Moonrise, nearby.

Linda moved in with Storm with 10,000 simoleons.  Unfortunately there was just a double bed and single bed at Storm’s uncle’s place.  The house, incidentally, is the very same that Storm’s great-grandmother, Brandi, lived in with her three sons (and later four daughters).

Unbelievably Storm got Linda pregnant back at the house – and they were still on the date!  Storm had flirted, proposed, wedded and got a woman pregnant all on one date.  Way to go, Storm!

What will happen when the baby’s born?  Who’s going to move out or will some of the household meet a similar fate to Stone Broke’s son, Rocky?  Stay tuned…

A wedding

November 14, 2009

Dawn Broke moved in with Vanni back to his mother’s place.  They had both dropped out of university but were engaged to be married.  Everyone got on well.

Vanni and Dawn discussed their future.

Vanni had had no recent contact with his father Juan Lothario, so Ramone invited him over.  Dawn was introduced to him.

Vanni didn’t get on too well with his dad.

Nevertheless, Juan stayed on for his son’s wedding.  (Dawn was a pregnant bride.)

It seemed Juan had had an effect on Vanni’s new wife.

Juan seemed reluctant at first to congratulate them,

but he joined in the applause.

There were kisses all round.

Seems Vanni’s parents still had feelings for each other.

The wedding celebrations were over and Ramone headed back to work.  She had recently been promoted to Predigistator and had earned a limo.

Unfortunately it was to be her last day at work, and in life.  On her return, Death awaited.

Death guided her ghost on her way while Vanni grieved.

A short time later, Dawn gave birth to a girl which they called Ramona after her deceased grandmother.

Great aunt, Ophelia, looked on.  Dawn was exhausted so went to bed.  Vanni got out of the pool and fed his new daughter.

Tragedy at Skip’s

November 14, 2009

Skip’s daughter, Penny, gave birth to a girl, Dayja (Vu).

Penny was an attentive mother but Bill, while not the greatest did his turn at feeding his daughter.  Bill had a tendency to influence his wife to do things around the house, such as gardening.

It was autumn and Skip and Moonrise were at work.  Penny went out to rake up some of the many leaves.  She then decided to burn a pile and it got a little out of hand.  She managed to extinguish one bush but it spread to another pile of leaves.  Bill tried to extingish this second fire but he got too close and the inevitable happened.

The maid panicked but nothing could be done.

Both Penny and Bill burned to death.

Luckily the nanny was inside looking after the baby or she would have been taken away.

When Skip and Moonrise returned from work a devastating scene awaited them.  Ironically it then started to rain.

Moonrise was beside herself with grief.

Her poor little granddaughter was now an orphan.  The maid cleaned up the mess and some flowers were replanted.  But Moonrise cried again when she went outside to pay the bills.

Little Dayja grew to a toddler.

Her grandparents got her potty-trained, taught her a nursery rhyme and also taught her to walk.

Moonrise fears for her future as she and Skip get older.

Skip made sure to dispose of the leaves carefully after that.

Tragedy at Stone’s

November 13, 2009

Young Rocky grew to school age and still had the nasal deformity.

The Sim god was not pleased.  His birthday was brought forward and he was sent outside to where a birthday cake awaited…

Rocky obliged by trying to reach the cake and ‘gulp’, he was gone, with just a smelly burp to show he’d existed.

Tad found his brother, too late, and told Stone the news.

Stone went outside to grieve.  Megan was asleep at the time.

The headstone was sent to Mr Stiffy’s cemetery.

Megan woke to the news.

Tad decided to head off to uni on the same night.  Stone reluctantly waved him goodbye.

Stone and Megan were unexpectedly alone again.  Stone got a promotion to double agent, but life was empty.

They tried for another baby to fill the emptiness. [Queue baby music...]

New place, new baby

November 13, 2009

Brittany’s time had finally come.

She had just been promoted to Education Minister and was 75.

Now, finally, Danielle could talk to Buck about moving out of what she thought was a poky little house

(or perhaps a holiday by plane?)

Buck had to grieve first

By this time it was winter and the penguin made regular treks through the house.

But then a new house was built (which I forgot to take a pic of) and they moved in.

Pregnant Danielle then gave birth to her second child…

to another girl, called Shantelle.

Buck’s brother, Stone, and nephew, Tad, visited.  Buck was considerably richer than older brother, Stone, so he gave a gift of three sculptures (to sell for cash).

While Buck talked to Tad, Stone picked up the toddler, Roxie, and headed inside, passing, as he did so, the half-naked Danielle heading the other way.

They showed a definite interest in each other.

While Stone held Roxie,

Tad held the baby Shantelle.

Buck and Danielle, meanwhile, were busy making a third baby.

And the baby cried, leaving Tad at a loss what to do.  The parents rescued him.

Then both Buck and Danielle made dinner and laid it on the table but everyone picked up a plate in the kitchen and stood around.

While Stone and Tad were visiting, Roxie grew to school age,

and Shantelle grew to a clone of her sister.

Growing up

November 6, 2009

Tad Broke had been milking the cow plant so was younger than he should have been.  So I forced his birthday upon him and he ended up looking like an ok teen.

Baby brother, Rocky, was a bit neglected.

At Buck’s, his daughter, Roxie, grew to a toddler.

Roxie’s mother, Danielle, wants to live in a house like the Landgraab residence (currently empty in Bluewater) but they can’t afford it.  Danielle’s waiting for Buck’s mother to die so they can inherit and move out.

Glitch ‘n’ weddings

November 6, 2009

Another freaky glitch at Belle’s place, first of all.

Young Sky was going potty in his mother.

Meanwhile, the elder twins were getting engaged at university.

Brandon got engaged to a student called Donna.

Seal got engaged to Shayla Todd (the precocious daughter of Banshee Todd nee Pleasant).

Younger brother, Dusky, grew into a teen.

And so to the weddings.

Brandon and Donna’s.

Donna looks like she’s getting married in a school uniform.  (They hadn’t been clothes shopping yet – oops.)

Belle and Seal look on.  Then it’s party time in the small, oddly decorated, house.

Seal and Shayla had their wedding in winter and it was a small private affair.

Ocean doesn’t look too impressed with Seal’s choice of bride.
