Parker marries

November 13, 2008

Parker and his fiancée, Soleil Charvat (whose mother is a Greenwood), had moved into the Huntingdon mansion.  Giles Huntingdon died soon after his wife and had left the house to his grandson.  Parker’s aunt, Beatrice, had gone to university (she’s younger than he is) but Cornelius still lived in the house.  The house was big enough (three storeys) and he didn’t have a lot to do with his nephew anyway.

Soleil organised the wedding party and invited parents on both sides (Beau and Veronica and Theophile and Valley) as well as one of her brother’s, Montagne, and Parker’s uncle, Chip.

A couple of invited guests didn’t turn up and Cornelius was at work at the time.

Joy and sorrow

November 11, 2008

Belle was loving university.

But, more specifically, she was loving a student.  She couldn’t help herself.

She became engaged to the youngest of the Greenwood clan – Ocean.

She then moved back home and prepared to find a job and hopefully Ocean would soon follow.

Tragedy struck when her mother, Angela, died suddenly one evening.  (I thought she had heaps of time left and I wasn’t actually paying much attention until I heard the sound of death coming.)

She was just 69.  Dustin wasn’t particularly upset considering the way Angela had treated him recently.

Over at Skip’s, baby Penny grew to a toddler.

Wife, Moonrise (Ocean’s older sister), meanwhile had twins – a boy and girl – Storm and Dawn.

There was a wee glitch when Skip changed Dawn’s nappy.
