Things are definitely not great for Dustin.

Apparently Dustin rejected a couple of advances by Angela and ever since she’s been picking on him and fighting.

These fights all happened while I just watched.
Angela tried to tend her dying vege garden but got zapped by lightning.

She was pretty much in the red zone and didn’t eat either. I had to get her to eat. Dustin needed her at least for her friends so he could get promoted. Otherwise he could have been tempted to break up with Angela. She wasn’t doing herself any favours.
At Beau’s, Veronica wanted to win a dance contest and her first attempt was a miserable failure.

Beau had gone with her to the music place and had, meanwhile, attempted to tinker with something.

The whole outing would have been a complete failure but Veronica tried again and won a contest.
Her mother has since died, age 69, with her father close to death also.
At Chip’s, little Buck is proving to be a child prodigy.

He is potty-trained and has learned to walk and talk, with still two days before becoming school age.
Finally, at Nancy’s, her son, Joe, went to see his birth father, Forest Greenwood.

They got on well.
The twins have since gone to uni and are in the same dorm as their half-brother, Forest’s son Cedar. Joe and Cedar get on well but Mary hates him.

Beau’s son, Parker, is now at uni.

I’m not sure if he’ll complete his degree – he hasn’t even registered a major.
He met a new student called Soleil Charvat (grand-daughter of one of the Randoms and daughter of the eldest Greenwood offspring).

I mention Randoms because she has their features. (The Random story is at my old blog.)
Parker had his very first kiss.

[The large Greenwood family are starting to appear a lot in Pleasantview - they're everywhere!]

Skip’s wife, Moonrise (yeah, the Greenwoods were hippy parents), quickly became pregnant.
Skip has a job as a bricklayer.

Moonrise gave birth. Skip now has a daughter called Penny. Moonrise wanted to call her Dawn, but too late – Skip had already written her name as Penny. His wife (from a family of 10) wants to have another baby (and if it’s another girl it’ll be Dawn!).
Belle, at university, met Moonrise’s kid brother, Ocean. They’re hitting it off. No pics as yet.

Nancy still hasn’t had a promotion. She’s taking forever to get her body skills up.
Avri is making more toys and might decide to open a shop to sell them.
The twins met their father one day. Nancy invited Forest over to meet them. Avri was upstairs so he didn’t see the welcoming or goodbye kiss. Seems Nancy still has a thing for him. (No pics, sorry.)
The twins became teenagers shortly afterwards.

Joe with Avri and his mum
He definitely looks like a Greenwood.

Mary
Mary looks more like her mum.

Brittany didn’t have a job, so when the baby was sleeping she got bored. She invited round her old uni friends, one of whom she had a crush on. But when she tried flirting with him he refused and Brittany’s female ex-roomie slapped her – oops – seems they were an item. So Brittany turned her attentions to Kevin Beere.

The party finished before school was out, but Stone caught his mother kissing Kevin goodbye.

(The boy outside is one of Forest Greenwood’s nephews.)
Chip was at work the whole time so he didn’t find out. Stone was pleased to see his dad back.

Buck’s birthday was the following evening.

Beau finally got promoted to mad scientist and is now platinum. He built a shed in the garden to house his medicine/virus making machine.
While he was still trying to make enough friends, he invited round a man who offered him a blind date with a compatible woman. Why not, thought Beau. He had a good date with the woman and increased his friendship level. Luckily Veronica didn’t find out. (No pics sorry.)
Beau wanted a family reunion so he threw an anniversary party and invited over the bros as well as his son, Parker. Nancy didn’t go.

Chatting with Dustin

Chatting with Chip
Veronica wasn’t interested in chatting with Chip’s wife, Brittany.

The party was a success. The Broke brothers had a great time.

Skip knew one of the Greenwood girls and he visited her one day, only to be surprised by her proposal of marriage (I had no idea they were so close).

Thinking this must be a signal that his life must change for the better, he accepted and moved in.
The wedding was held one autumn evening.

Man. that nose! Unusual suit…
Guests were from both sides of the family.

The couple’s parents were there as well as Forest Greenwood and his brother Glen’s pregnant wife (Lynette Random for those who know the Random story in my old blog). I can’t remember who the young blond dude is.
Skip’s sister, Belle, had gone to uni so Dustin and Angela were now on their own. Dustin was at work a lot with business and Angela got bored. She started a vege garden but was tempted away by the attentions of a young black townie.

They had a dream date in town.
Unfortunately Dustin saw the bouquet of roses Angela’s date had left for her.

Life was now settled at Nancy’s place. Avri, being at the top of his career, had a lot of time on his hands so he built a shed out the back and began making toys. He made a kite for Mary and a firetruck for Joe.

Nancy had a concrete fence built around the house. Unfortunately it used up a lot of money and they found the simoleons greatly dwindled, but thanks to Avri’s salary it soon built up again. Nancy was promoted to MVP. The family was happy and the kids loved their parents.

But Nancy found, to her horror and quite by accident, that the twins were not Avri’s! (Actually I happened to look at the family tree and find that Avri wasn’t the dad!). No wonder the kids were good-looking. They took after their real father – Forest Greenwood (an old boyfriend). It’s no wonder she had twins – with twins on her side of the family and on Forest’s side (he’s from a family of 10). Oops. Nancy could’ve sworn she got pregnant after the wedding but it must have been before (and she didn’t even remember the deed!). Poor old Avri. But at least the kids had his surname.
Nancy found out that the old Broke house had been bought and a new family had moved in – none other than one of Forest’s younger brothers. That wasn’t so bad. What hurt was that the new family did away with the headstones – sold them off! The ghosts of Brandi and the girls were no more. Nancy felt even worse for abandoning the house but then they all seemed so much happier where they were (as long as Avri didn’t find out about the twins!).
Nancy’s older sister, Jeanette, continued to breed puppies. Another litter had just been born. She’d now bred 8 – almost halfway to her goal of 20. But tragedy struck. Lightning struck a tree at the back of the house and it burned the tree down and then set alight the untended garden (ie the weeds). Jeanette in her panic got too close.

She died and the dogs were taken away for adoption. I hadn’t planned this but I let it happen. I didn’t really want 20 dogs that all looked the same in the neighbourhood. She’d wanted to get married but there were no suitors and it was all rather tedious (mopping up dog wee and cleaning…).
So out of Brandi’s four girls, only one remained.

Brittany got pregnant again. It was time to move. They packed their belongings and moved out of the apartment. But Chip then found they only had 15,000 – not enough for a decent house. They had to settle for a tiny one-bedroomed house for 13,000. Luckily the house came furnished so they sold off the excess furniture and managed to wall in a part of the patio out the back for a second bedroom.
Stone grew to school age,

Chip grew to elderhood,

and Brittany had the baby – another boy they named Buck.

Beau realised he was getting old – it was harder to get up in the mornings.

His birthday came and went with no fanfare and he continued to study towards promotion.

Veronica was now busy as a jazzercise instructor and he barely saw her. Their son, Parker, was all fired up and ready to go to university.

Home alone, and rather lonely, Beau welcomed visits from neighbours.

He made a good-looking elder and women still responded to him. Just after this pic he hugged neighbour, Diane, romantically… Hmm. Something had obviously been going on here in my absence. Watch this space?
